CJ Fox: So, what we found is that a lot of financial professionals are not offering disability insurance.  They’re missing a crucial piece to their client’s portfolio and planning.  We’ve also learned that recently there’s been a lot more lawsuits against financial advisors and professionals because they missed that and now their clients are disabled and they can’t work.  They don’t have an income, so we know that one of the hardest things to deal with in life is when you lose a job.  Especially when you become too sick or injured to work.

So, they’re actually suing their financial advisors because they say, “You didn’t offer me that.  You’re supposed to be my planner,” and they’re winning these lawsuits.

It is highly beneficial and advantageous for the agent to offer that for their clients.  From not only a need perspective, but a moral standpoint.
